 Moco as we call him is currently not registered but can be by the new owners. His sire is GMC Black Velvet (MFTHBA 88-31531) and is dam is Traverler's Blue Perfection (MFTHBA 95-47230). He is currently in training at Rancho La Kiara with Luis Trujillo and has had just over 20 days of training. Moco is a very sweet boy and is learning new things every day. She stands 15.2 hands tall and has very nice fox trotter gaits. Her coat is slick and she is all black. All four hooves are completely black and hard. She is not tender footed. Can go with or without shoes. She loves trail rides. She steps over logs, crosses creeks and ditches well, crosses running water, goes into water up to her belly. She stands still for the farrier and stands still to mount and dismount. She loads easily and travels well in a trailer for long distances. She is current on her shots and worming. She is comfortable around cattle, will walk across a tarp and play soccer with a beach ball. She has never been bred but would make a great brood mare. She does need a confident rider.  Excellent mountain horse needs assertive rider can be pushy, but not ridden regularly lately so getting her out would probably fix it. Trainer loves her and has led pack string off of her. Have not packed her per se, but have piled plenty of gear on. High lines, hobbles, good to shoe, easy to load. Calli will go forever, but is mellow ie will stop and stand still also. She is a dream for someone with more experience.
