What do bars in the home and Christmas have in common?
Well, quite a bit actually. The holidays are when most families specifically plan on gathering together to spend a little quality time and have some fun. Egg nog and hot toddies come to mind at Christmas.
In the case of Barina Craft's nautical boat bars and Xmas, they also share another feature. HOLLY!

|Does Spillage Theory, Style or Both Affect Your Home Bar Top Design?||
Choosing among bartops available for your home pub may involve form, function, preference or all of the above. The raised molding commonly surrounding the perimeter of many bars may potentially help to contain any spills. However, some think this protruding lip may cause a lot of the accidents by guests bumping their glasses into this elevated edge barrier.
Of course the design must be aesthetically pleasing and match your individual tastes. The overriding influence may be the coordination of your home's interior design to complement architectural features, room themes and other considerations.

|Corkscrews and Basic Starter Tools for Tending Bar at Home||
Home bars have become more popular again in recent years.
Its kind of strange that their popularity ever waned. You invite the family, friends and guests you want to spend time with instead of hoping the atmosphere is as expected at your nightclub destination. Not to mention livening up a room's decor and potentially adding to the value of your house.
Bartending at home can be as simple or complicated as you want. Get started with the essentials outlined here ... corkscrews, bar spoons, glassware and others are highlighted to begin with. Move on to other equipment like muddlers, shakers, strainers and a host of other accessories as you get more comfortable behind the bar.
Please, always drink responsibly.

|Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a Marguerita||
The most popular tequila drink is no doubt the Margarita and Cinco de Mayo, the 5th day of May, has become an excuse to have a pitcher.
While commonly mistaken for the Mexican Independence Day, September 16, it actually marks a victorious militia battle over the French army who were trying to force a debt collection in 1862. Many Americans have exaggerated its significance, whether it had any personal meaning or not, and have turned the holiday into a reason to celebrate. Why not join in and commemorate the day with some friends. Here's a version of this classic cocktail included with other popular mixed drink recipes on our site. Salted rim optional of course.

|About Our Home Bar Furniture||
BAR & MARINA represent our nautically inspired home bars as the portmanteau word combination 'Barina'. The addition of 'Craft' to our name pays homage to many of the classic wooden boatbuilders who also used this extension as part of their company names. It turns out that once together as 'Barina Craft' you could stretch it out to say 'bar in a craft'. Since our signature bars for home are essentially contained within a watercraft cut in half, we feel pretty lucky about the coincidence:)
We tried to have our logo tell a story rather than be a symbol or just letters like so many others. Also wanted a cartoonish sort of look. How'd we do?
