| AnimeUSA | Alright! Going to AnimeUSA with elrohiir October 12-13. I think I'm going to push for going as Xu from Final Fantasy VIII. No one's EVER cosplayed as her and pictures of her are extremely hard to find apparently. So, I'm basing the uniform off Quistis'. A list of the required materials is as follows:Jacket - navy in color which may be made with the help of ther either my roommate's mother or my mom's costuming friend at work. Red fabric will be needed for the trim around the sleeves as well as gold and royal blue. Tie - simple red fabric, probably use cotton or something. Collar - I think I'm going to buy either black material or dark gray material and do the collar design myself with a silver gel pen. Pin - The Balamb Garden pin thing at the top of the tie. I might look through napkin ring holders to find something similar to the design and then make the crest out of foam or something. Or I may simly buy silver material and build onto that. Skirt - More than likely, I'm going to buy the navy skirt. Boots - Yet again, I'm going to buy a pair one I find a pair. Hopefully, I'll be recognized by someone! They might just think I'm some random SeeD student. Ah well. =D It'll be fun to see if anyone DOES recognize me for the character I'm going to be. |
